The best Peec AI alternatives

Peec AI is the self-serve AI visibility tracker many marketing teams start with. These are the Peec AI alternatives worth a look when you need more engines, a lower entry price, a free plan or content written for you, grouped by use case, with Peec read fairly at the top.

Last updated October 2026 · Published by Agniverse GEO

Short answer

The best Peec AI alternative depends on what Peec is not giving you. For enterprise scale and an agent that drafts content, Profound. For a lower entry price with Perplexity included, Otterly.AI. For a free plan, AthenaHQ. For Claude, DeepSeek and Mistral without a three-model cap, Rankscale. Stay with Peec if you want published plans, your own prompts and unlimited users.

Why look past Peec AI

Peec AI does the core job well and shows its prices, which not every tool does. Its own pricing page also shows the limits that send some teams looking for a Peec AI alternative.

Three models per plan

Starter, Pro and Advanced each track three models you choose from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI. Each extra model is a monthly add-on, $28 (EUR 25) on Starter, $62 (EUR 55) on Pro and $130 (EUR 115) on Advanced. Perplexity sits in the add-on list.

Priced in euros

Peec's pricing page showed us $96, $232 and $480 (EUR 85, 205 and 425) a month on monthly billing, with 15% off for annual. If you budget in dollars, the real cost moves with the exchange rate. Check what the page shows in your region.

It suggests, it does not write

Peec ranks recommended actions and generates agent actions from your data. Its pricing page lists no article writer and no publishing to your CMS. If you want drafts produced for you, Profound, Writesonic and Gauge go further.

Prompts are the meter

The plan steps are 50, 150 and 350 prompts. A brand with many products, competitors or buyer types can outgrow Starter quickly. Credit-based tools and high-volume plans price that growth differently.

How to choose a Peec AI alternative

Start from the limit you hit. If it is the three-model cap, AthenaHQ Starter tracks 11 models and Rankscale Pro covers nine engines at $99. If it is cost, Otterly.AI starts at $29 with Perplexity included, and AthenaHQ has a free plan. If you want content drafted, look at Profound's AI Marketer, Writesonic's articles or Gauge's content engine, and plan for someone to review every page. If you already pay for Ahrefs, its included prompts may be enough to start. If you are not sure you need a tracker yet, HubSpot's free grader gives you a first read with no account. And if Peec's plans fit, there is no reason to switch for its own sake. Every tool here measures. The work that moves an answer happens outside the dashboard.

What to check before you switch from Peec AI

  • Which engines are in the base plan, and what Perplexity, Claude or Gemini cost on top.
  • Prompts per dollar at the tier you need, not the headline price.
  • Currency and billing basis. Some prices are annual-only, some are localized.
  • Seats. Peec includes unlimited users. Several alternatives cap them.
  • Whether you need content drafted, or only measurement and recommendations.
  • Who acts on the data. The tracker shows the gap. A person or an agency closes it.

The best Peec AI alternatives, by use case

Four alternatives, each answering one limit teams hit with Peec AI: an enterprise step up, a lower entry price, a free plan, or more engines without a three-model cap.

Peec AI itself, and four more

The incumbent, read fairly, then a tracker that writes articles, the Ahrefs add-on, a high-volume plan, and a free first check. For the two best-known names line by line, see Profound vs Peec AI, or the Profound alternatives.

Peec AI

Measures + suggests

Best for: The incumbent: self-serve teams that want published plans and unlimited users

Peec AI is the self-serve tracker many marketing teams start with, and it earns that. Plans are on the page, you write your own prompts, every plan has unlimited users and daily tracking, and it reports visibility, position, sentiment, sources and AI bot traffic, then ranks recommended actions. The reasons to look past it are specific. Each plan tracks three models, extra models cost more each month, prices are in euros, and it suggests changes rather than drafting content for you.

Writesonic

Measures + drafts

Best for: Small teams that want AI-written articles next to the tracking

Peec tells you what to fix. Writesonic also writes. Starter at $79 a month, billed annually, tracks 50 prompts daily on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews and includes 15 AI articles and 10 site audits a month. Growth at $399 adds sentiment analysis and a trial of its Action Center. Free trial, no card.

Heads-upThree engines on self-serve plans, and no Perplexity until Enterprise.

Best for: Ahrefs users, and market-wide data without picking prompts

If your SEO team already pays for Ahrefs, Brand Radar may cover the basics before you add Peec. Paid Ahrefs plans include 5 to 20 tracked prompts, Custom Prompts start at $50 a month, and the AI Visibility Index at $199 a month shows any brand across what Ahrefs reports as 448M prompts, no setup needed. It measures only.

Heads-upClaude tracking uses 8 checks per update, so it burns allowance fast.

Gauge

Measures + drafts

Best for: High daily prompt volume plus articles, on one plan

Gauge is the opposite pricing bet to Peec. One plan, $599 a month, with 600 prompts run every day across six platforms, 108,000 answers a month, and 18 publish-ready articles it can push to Webflow, Framer, Sanity or GitHub. If you would outgrow Peec's 350-prompt Advanced plan, compare the two on cost per answer.

Heads-upNo smaller plan. The 1-week trial is the only way in below $599.

Best for: A free first look before you pay for any tracker

Not a Peec replacement, a step before it. HubSpot's AI Search Grader is free, needs no account, and scores what ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini say about your brand across five areas. It reads training data, not live answers, so use it to decide whether you need a tracker at all. HubSpot AEO, $50 a month, is its ongoing option.

Terms you will see on these pricing pages

Model
The AI engine a tool asks, like ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity. Peec calls them models and lets you pick three per plan.
Monthly AI answers
Prompts times models times runs. Peec's example is 25 prompts on 3 models for 30 days, which is 2,250 answers. It is the fairest way to compare plans.
Recommended actions
A ranked list of fixes a tool suggests from your tracking data. Useful, but a person still has to do them.
Crawlability audit
A check of which AI bots your robots.txt allows or blocks. Peec covers 40+ bots. If an engine's crawler is blocked, it cannot read your pages.
Credits
A usage unit some alternatives bill in instead of prompts. AthenaHQ uses one per AI answer, and Rankscale uses fractions per engine query.

How this list is built

We re-read Peec AI's pricing page and each alternative's own pricing page on October 1, 2026, using a headless browser where prices load with JavaScript. Peec's prices only appear after the page's scripts run, and other sources show different Peec numbers, so we publish only what the rendered pricing page showed: $96, $232 and $480 (EUR 85, 205 and 425) a month on monthly billing. Every other price is as listed in October 2026, in the currency the page showed us. We left out anything we could not confirm on the tool's own site, including Peec's trial length, which its pricing page does not state. Alternatives are grouped by the job they do better for some teams, not ranked one to eight.

A note on who publishes this. Agniverse GEO is an AI search service for app makers, not a software tool, and has no relationship with Peec AI or any other tool on this page. We run our own tracker for client work, 50 buyer prompts on ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini with three samples each, every two weeks, so we know what these tools measure and where they stop. It is part of our service, not a product on this list. One angle to weigh: we sell the work, so we lean toward saying tools only measure. We kept to what each vendor says about itself. No paid placements, no affiliate links.

Frequently asked questions

What are the best Peec AI alternatives?
It depends on what Peec is not giving you. For enterprise scale and an agent that drafts content, Profound. For a lower entry price with Perplexity included, Otterly.AI. For a free plan and 11 models on one paid tier, AthenaHQ. For Claude, DeepSeek and Mistral under $100, Rankscale. For articles plus tracking, Writesonic. For Ahrefs users, Brand Radar. For high daily volume, Gauge. For a free first look, HubSpot's AI Search Grader.
How much does Peec AI cost?
Peec AI's pricing page showed Starter at $96 (EUR 85) a month, Pro at $232 (EUR 205) and Advanced at $480 (EUR 425) on monthly billing, with 15% off for annual billing, plus a custom Enterprise plan. Starter includes 50 prompts, Pro 150 and Advanced 350, each with three models and unlimited users. Extra models cost $28 (EUR 25) to $130 (EUR 115) a month depending on plan. Agency plans are priced separately in credits.
Does Peec AI track Perplexity?
Yes, as an add-on. The base model list on Peec's self-serve plans is ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI, and you pick three. Perplexity is in the list of extra models you can add for a monthly fee. Otterly.AI, AthenaHQ and Rankscale include Perplexity in their base engines.
What is the cheapest Peec AI alternative?
Otterly.AI starts at $29 a month for 15 prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot. AthenaHQ has a free plan with 300 credits, and HubSpot's grader is free for a one-time check. Rankscale Pro is $99 a month for up to 4,800 answers across nine engines. All prices as listed in October 2026.
Is Profound better than Peec AI?
For enterprise teams that need SSO, more engines and an agent that drafts content, Profound goes further. For teams that want to see the price, write their own prompts and add unlimited users, Peec AI is the simpler choice. Profound lists only a free trial and custom Enterprise pricing. Our Profound vs Peec AI page compares them line by line.
Which Peec AI alternative writes content?
Writesonic includes 15 AI articles a month on its $79 Starter plan, billed annually. Gauge writes 18 publish-ready articles a month on its $599 plan and publishes to Webflow, Framer, Sanity or GitHub. Profound's AI Marketer drafts content and stages it for approval on Enterprise. AthenaHQ Starter has a content optimization agent. Someone should still review every page before it goes live.
Does Peec AI have a free trial?
Peec's pricing page has a 'Start free trial' button but does not state the trial length, so we do not quote one. If a long free option matters, AthenaHQ's Essential plan is free with no end date, and Rankscale, Gauge and Otterly.AI offer trials on paid plans.
Is there a Peec AI alternative for agencies?
Peec has its own agency plans, from $232 (EUR 205) a month for 10,000 credits. Alternatives include Rankscale's Growth plan at $385 a month with 50 brand dashboards and white-label options, and Goodie's agency plan from $275 a month. Profound has an agency plan too, but its pricing page does not show the price.

The tracker is the easy part

Peec or an alternative, the dashboard shows where you stand in AI answers. If you make an app and want the work done, Agniverse GEO is our AI search lab. We track real buyer prompts across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini and work on the pages and sources the answers draw from. Clients join by application.

Published by Agniverse GEO, the AI search lab from Agniverse. We do the work of AI search as a service, sell no tracking tool and have no relationship with Peec AI, so this is a neutral read.
