How much does a UGC agency cost in the UK?

UK UGC prices come in three shapes: a price per video, a monthly plan, and a quote after a call. They are not comparable until you know what is inside, so the table lists what each number buys.

Published prices, read from each agency's own site on 8 October 2026.

Creator fees are not agency fees

A UK creator's own fee for one video ran from £27 to £67 on Influee's UK marketplace on 8 October 2026. Twirl's £240 video and UGC3's £295 credit are agency prices with usage rights, editing and revisions inside. Agniverse Media's retainer includes creator fees. Compare the price per usable video with rights, not the headline number.

How long can you run the video as an ad?

UGC3 includes one year of ad usage per video credit. Twirl includes full usage rights for organic and paid social. The UGC Agency agrees paid and organic usage with each creator before filming. Agniverse Media allows a year of ad usage, or longer if you need it. Get the term, the channels and any whitelisting cost in writing.

UGC ads or organic UGC?

UGC ads are creator-style videos you pay to run, so the cost is creator fees plus media spend. Organic UGC is posted to earn reach in the feed, so the cost is creators per view. Everything Agniverse Media runs is organic UGC. On our organic campaigns we see roughly $0.50 to $3 per 1,000 views and view-to-conversion of about 0.5% to 2%, planning ranges rather than promises. More on running UGC ads and the UGC benchmarks.

The shortlist

Four to start with: our own entry, then three London UGC specialists, two of which publish their prices.

The wider field

A full-service UK social agency, a full paid-stack agency, a self-serve marketplace, a performance-creative shop, and our DIY tool - each a different model, with the caveats where they matter.

The Social Shepherd

Retainer

Best for: Brands that want a full-service UK social partner, UGC included

A UK-founded, full-service social agency with offices it lists in London and Bath (plus New York and Miami). Founded in 2018, it says it has grown to 74 people and worked with 200+ brands, naming clients including UNIQLO, ASICS, Zalando, Lavazza, Arla and Bio-Oil on its own site. UGC is delivered inside its influencer-marketing service rather than as a standalone product, so this is a broader engagement than a pure UGC shop. Best if you want organic, paid, creative and influencer under one UK roof.

Heads-upFull-service - UGC is one line among five (social, paid, creative, influencer, TikTok Shop).

Bark.London

Retainer

Best for: Scaling ecommerce brands that want UGC inside a full paid stack

Not the fit if you want UGC on its own, without a performance retainer

A London performance-marketing agency that folds creator and UGC content into a full stack of paid media and data science, rather than selling UGC on its own. It names clients including HelloFresh, Huel, Pangaia and Who Gives A Crap, and describes itself as an independent UK agency certified by Meta across creative, media buying and marketing science (its own claim). Founded in 2019. Best if you want UGC as one lever inside a measured, full-funnel paid program.

Heads-upNot a dedicated UGC shop - UGC is a sub-service inside a larger performance retainer, and pricing is not published.

Influee

Marketplace

Best for: Teams that want to self-serve UK UGC at volume, without an agency

Not the fit if you want a done-for-you agency rather than managing creators yourself

A self-serve UGC marketplace where you launch a brief, review applicant creators and get edited content back, with UK creators available among its markets. It says 1,800+ brands use it and advertises UGC 'for as low as £98', with sample UK creator profiles at £27 to £67 a video on its UK page. Best if you want to run UK UGC yourself at volume rather than brief an agency.

Heads-upA self-serve platform, not a done-for-you agency, and UK-serving rather than UK-based - you manage the creators yourself.

Creative Milkshake

Project

Best for: Growth-stage app and gaming brands that want performance creative

A performance-creative agency that blends studio and creator production with paid-media management, measured on ad outcomes rather than raw clips. It works with a UK-heavy roster it names on its site - iwoca, N26, Wise, Spoke London among them - with self-reported wins like a 65% lower cost per mobile registration for N26. Best if you want creator content wired directly into paid performance.

Heads-upUK client roster, but the public footer points to a Quebec, Canada registration, so confirm UK presence if that matters. No pricing published.

Handler

Software

Best for: Teams that want to make app UGC themselves, for free

A free tool for making app UGC yourself. Handler gives you UGC hook generators, script helpers and a searchable library of real viral app UGC, with no signup. It is the DIY software layer: use it to see what is working and draft your own creator briefs before you hire anyone. Best if you want to test UGC yourself before bringing in an agency.

What UK advertising rules mean for creator content

The ASA, the UK's advertising regulator, sets out how paid creator content must be labelled. Three points matter most when you brief creators. Read the ASA's current guidance before you launch.

Label it as an ad, up front

The ASA wants paid creator content to be obviously identifiable, with a prominent "Ad" label at the start of the post. It advises against "sponsored", and labels such as "gifted", "spon", "aff" or an @-mention alone are unlikely to be clear enough. A label buried in the hashtags or under "see more" fails.

Gifts and affiliate links count

A gifted product is an incentive, even when the creator did not ask for it. A creator who posts an affiliate link or discount code is acting as an advertiser. Both need the label.

The brand shares the responsibility

The ASA says brands and creators are both responsible for making ads obviously identifiable, and its rulings name both. Put the label in the brief, and keep a record that you did.

How to choose a UGC agency in the UK

First, decide the lever you are hiring: creator content made to run as ads, organic UGC posted to earn reach, influencer campaigns that borrow a creator's audience, or a marketplace to source creators yourself. Then ask three things: where the creators are based, what usage rights you get and for how long, and whether the price is published or a quote. Ask for UK work you can name and a result you can check.

UGC agency, TikTok agency or influencer agency?

A UGC agency makes creator-style content for you to post or run: Agniverse Media, The UGC Agency, Twirl and UGC3. A TikTok agency usually sells paid TikTok ads or account management, and some searches for one are about TikTok's own agency programmes. An influencer agency buys a named creator's audience, which is how The Social Shepherd delivers UGC. Bark.London and Creative Milkshake wire creator content into paid media.

What to look for in a UK UGC partner

  • Where the creators are based, and whether they are UK creators.
  • UK work you can name and a result you can check.
  • ASA-aware: they brief creators to label ads clearly, up front.
  • Usage rights: term, channels, whitelisting.
  • A published price, or a stated reason there is none.
  • Honest about fit - a good partner tells you when someone else suits you better.

The key UGC and UK-growth terms, in plain English

The ASA and the "Ad" label
The Advertising Standards Authority is the UK's ad regulator. Paid or gifted creator content must be obviously identifiable as an ad, with a prominent "Ad" label at the start of the post.
Usage rights
What the brand may do with a creator's video, for how long and on which channels: organic posts, paid ads, website, email. Get the term in writing.
Whitelisting
The creator posts the video from their own profile and the brand boosts it as an ad. Usually priced separately or offered on request.

How this list is built

Agencies are grouped by the job they are best at, not stacked one-to-ten, because the right partner for a scrappy DTC launch is not the right one for a funded app. Every claim, including prices, model, focus and named clients, was read from each agency's own website on 8 October 2026. Figures an agency reports about itself are labelled as its own claim, and anything we could not verify was left out.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a UGC agency cost in the UK?
Published prices run from £240 a video at Twirl and a £295 video credit at UGC3, to managed campaigns from £849 (UGC3) and £1,920 (Twirl), to monthly plans with £1,500 and £2,100 minimums at Twirl. Agniverse Media's organic programmes start at $10K a month with creator fees included. The UGC Agency, The Social Shepherd, Bark.London and Creative Milkshake quote after a call. Prices read on 8 October 2026, so check the current page before you budget.
Which UGC agency is best in the UK?
It depends on the job. For an app that needs views that convert and users who stay, Agniverse Media. For London-made UGC for paid social, The UGC Agency or UGC3. For per-video UGC with a published price, Twirl. For a full-service social partner, The Social Shepherd or Bark.London. To run creators yourself, Influee.
Do UK creator ads need an ad label?
Yes, if the creator is paid, gifted a product, or posts an affiliate link or code. The ASA wants a prominent "Ad" label at the start of the post and advises against "sponsored". Brands and creators share the responsibility, so put the label in the brief. Read the ASA's guidance.
Is UGC worth it for a UK app launch?
For consumer apps, often yes, if you judge it on users who stay and not on views. On our organic campaigns we see roughly $0.50 to $3 per 1,000 views and view-to-conversion of about 0.5% to 2%. Those are planning ranges from our own work, not promises. Full ranges are on the UGC benchmarks page.
How much do UGC creators make in the UK?
On Influee's UK page, sample creators charged £27 to £67 a video on 8 October 2026. An agency price such as Twirl's £240 includes usage rights, editing and revisions. Fees rise with audience size, usage term and exclusivity.
What are the top digital agencies in the UK?
This page covers UGC. For a full-service social partner, The Social Shepherd and Bark.London are in the table above.
How long can I run UGC as an ad?
It depends on the deal. UGC3 includes one year of ad usage per video credit, Twirl includes full usage rights for organic and paid social, The UGC Agency agrees usage with each creator before filming, and Agniverse Media allows a year or longer on request. Get the term, the channels and any whitelisting cost in writing.
Do I need a UK-based agency, or just UK creators?
What matters most is UK creators and someone who briefs for UK ad rules. The agency's postcode matters less than whether the content reads as local. Five of the agencies on this page are London-based, and Creative Milkshake's footer points to a Quebec registration. Agniverse Media hires UK creators and runs content in the UK for brands. Ask to see UK work and confirm the creators are UK-based.
UGC production, influencer, marketplace or a TikTok agency?
UGC production if you want a done-for-you team making creator content to post or run. Influencer campaigns if you want a named creator's reach. A marketplace if you want to source and run creators yourself. A TikTok agency usually sells paid TikTok ads or account management, which is a different job. Many UK brands use more than one as they scale.
